Worship and Relevance in the Church Choice

2014 March: You Need a Trainer

I need to always, always learn if I'm going to become what I was created to be. Do you have a trainer? Do you have mentors in the key areas of your personal, spiritual, and professional growth? I'd love to hear about them! Who's your Lucien Laurin? Who's pulling the very best out of you?

Imagine

Imagine there's no winter
It's easy if you try

Kingdom Story Part III: Kingdom Song of Liberation

Kingdom Story Part III: Kingdom Song of Liberation
This liberation brought to the Israelites on the banks of the Red Sea is offered freely to all mankind in the fully divine, fully human Son of God, Jesus the Christ. Jesus has come and has shown us the love and righteousness of God and has bought our forgiveness with His blood on the cross. He is our God and we are His people! In the face of every personal and global calamity, Jesus offers freedom.

And not only were these Egyptian gods defeated, but Moses predicted it publicly every time and no one could deny that God’s power had been shown!

What’s it going to look like when the kingdoms collide in your life? Which gods will be defeated? Which oppression will be broken?

Kingdom Story Part I: The Kingdom of God Is Announced

So God’s deliverance of His people began with revealing something of Himself and His name and character to Moses. We exist because of the choice of our parents; He exists because He is God.

What does the revelation of God, the unveiling of his name, do to you?

Does Preaching Matter to You?

Does Preaching Matter to You?
Yes, I would love to hear how important the Sunday message is to you. How important is a pastor who researches and presents God's Word carefully and powerfully?

Christian Generosity: Loads and Burdens

Christian Generosity: Loads and Burdens
So the basic idea is that everyone is responsible to care for themselves, and then we show compassion for those who are overwhelmed with an excessive burden.
